Thanks for the Christian, is centered on the father who has given so much to be grateful. Most Americans think of the fact that God has given us many benefits and we are grateful to receive them. But a moment to consider the other half of that. This is not just what we've been given. It 'also on what can give back.
"Jesus also said the man had asked:" When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends or yourbrothers or your relatives or your rich neighbors, because maybe invite back, so they are repaid. But when you give a banquet or a reception, invite the poor, the disabled, the lame, the blind. While you will be blessed because they have no way to repay you, and you will be rewarded in the resurrection of the righteous. "Luke 14:12-14 (Amplified)
Just what is Jesus referring to this statement? This is a reflection on the perfection of God's love has put allthings in order. And 'relationship with two faces, a search and a receiver. If this is not a two-way street, you will surely collapse. We can not expect that God always answers prayer, because we expect to do something in return too. If we truly love God with all your heart and with all our mind, our soul and all our forces, we want to do things as ordered. There is an order, because God is order. Our main objective, as human beings is to please him. How can we do? Jesuswe have already said in the Gospel of Luke, do not give to receive, but to give heart to those in need.
God has already given us sanctification, justification, and an unrivaled heritage in his reign of his son and adopted daughter of time, we have accepted Jesus Christ. With this great gift we are called to love others as ourselves.
"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, who goes MayForth viruta exposure and the wonders and greatness of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. "1 Peter 2:9 (Amplified)
We have been given by Christ, are chosen to be like him that we want to be examples of virtue. Christ came to give, not only for the rich, the healthy for the righteous, but for the poor, the sick and the sinner. He gave his life so that we too can live an eternal life with him. For this reason weshould give. He has given everything for free to anyone who wanted to receive. He came to show us how to live according to God's order of things. Jesus does miracles, merely to look good and that certainly did not hang on a cross to die for us to feel sorry for him. No, he gave us his heart, so that we receive in our own. So what we do in this life is to be the heart, not what we do to impress others. E 'quiet, the silence of the things we do that pleases Godmost. He tells us that what we do in private, will be rewarded in the open field. And 'Love is the gift that Christ came to show his people. As God has already blessed us so rich in Christ, we want to be a blessing for those in need without expecting to be repaid. We have already received full payment.
This is the time of year that we see everyone with their hands for a certain type of contribution. We often aggitated all the beggars and avoid them. InIn fact, when we lost the opportunity to give, we say to the Lord that we do not need or want His blessings. Why should he expect us to help people who do not even know?
Once again, Jesus says in Matthew 25, the day of the test, which can separate us from one of two categories. We'll be treated like sheep or goats. The sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Who are these sheep and goats anyway? The response of the Lord;
"Then the King will say to those whoHis right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father [you support the appointment of God and eternal salvation], inherit (receive your own), the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. "Matthew 25:34 (amplified)
The sheep are obviously those who have been chosen, a royal priesthood, those that are purchased to expose the wonders of make and display these virtues to others without expecting anything in return. The sheep belong to Christ. ThenWho are the goats?
"Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" Matthew 25:41 (Amplified)
The goats are those who have rejected Christ's invitation for salvation. These are the saved, unregenerate people who do not meet the needs of a person other than their own. It all boils down to supply, or its absence. So, in essence, it must be especially careful because you never know who we arecan help or not help! He told us later in this chapter that what we are doing or not doing to others what we do for him.
The author of Hebrews has taken very seriously when he wrote these words;
"Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to foreigners (in the fraternity to be friendly, warm, kind, sharing the comfort of your home and do your part generously) to the angels through it to other entertainment without knowing it." Jews13:2 (Amplified)
Often, God sent us angels, some coming as normal people, to bless us, but often do not recognize this as a blessing. How can we receive further determine the blessing of God has for us. We are never tried. If you know this, we must be invited to be the heart of the donor.
Paul wrote in the book of Acts, we as Christians are supposed to help the less fortunate.
"In everything I pointed out to you [for example], whichby working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive’.” Acts 20:35 (Amplified)
We are to give not to look good to others, but from the heart to please the Lord. But how can we be so sure that God will reward us? He promises that He will.
“Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken whole, and overflowing, poured into [the pouch formed by] bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. To measure it with [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], will be measured to you. "Luke 6:38 (Amplified)
Whatever we give to others, God is able to return in abundance! God sees our motives, our hearts. Ask God for this holiday season what he can do for you but what you can do to someone else in Jesus 'name'.There are so many missions that you need money to feed and clothe the homeless, not just in this country but around the world. We are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. And 'our duty not only to feed the physical body, but spiritual. Please think about this and ask the Lord to take to be a blessing for those in need this holiday season.
"How to seek the counsel of God, hear his appeal. It can make you see a need or can showall. Remember to give to others, is to give to God There is nothing that is too large, and certainly none that is too small. "Gordon Vivian
